NeuroCranial Restructuring (NCR) treatment in Zurich

NCR, Sinusitis, and Nasal Breathing
When people think of NCR, they focus on the endonasal balloon. Why? Because the balloon helps you to breathe better through your nose. The use of endonasal balloons, going back to the early 1920s, has always focused on improving nasal breathing.

Do you have problems with your sinuses? Your sinuses are pockets or caves inside your facial bones. The sinuses are lined with mucous membranes, a lining like the lining of the nose and throat. These sinus chambers function like bathtubs, with a drain hole at the bottom of the sinus for excess mucus to drain. After injuries to the face, such as falls, beatings, or extracted teeth, the facial bones shift and the tilt of the sinus “bathtub” changes and the mucus is unable to drain out completely. If, added to this compromised situation, an infection such as a bacteria or fungus gets into the mucus in the sinus, then an infection can grow. Without drainage, the mucus in the sinus will continue to breed infection, because killing agents like antibiotics and herbs can only be delivered through the bloodstream, not into the center of the sinus chamber. This is a time where physical methods need to be used, because the biochemical methods cannot work. Should you get surgery? NO!
